I read it in 2 days, but it offers some potent arguments against Dawkins's claims; I am intensely curious as to how Dawkins would respond. I'm not so sure the kindle version is worth five times as much as the paperback, as the current prices show, but it's still worth the buy.

The debate was insulting to my intelligense. The protagonist was beligerant and simply ranting. The antagonist, whose argument was weak, was respectful and tried to levy an intelligent argument.
Tough minded but not vast...needs about 500 more pages..
Excellent book. Read it after "The God Delusion". It really opens your eyes so as not to be deceived by arguments that seem logical and nice but analyzing a bit more are dangerous and intolerant. This book really convinces that it is reasonable that a Creator exists and teaches us the importance of tolerance and respect to religion and to all people of all religions or not religious. It teaches us to dig deeper when confronted to easy opinions about God not existing or any ideology. It was very helpful and it is definitely an eye opening about how atheism can be extreme and intolerant too! Just as religion fanatism can cause violence, atheism fanatism and intolerance can and has caused violence too! It is so important to THINK about the consequences of arguments and that is what this book does: it uncovers the consequences of atheism driven to extremism and religious intolerance.

I'm a big fan of Scott Hahn, and I was following and internally validating the logic of most of his arguments....until the last chapter. There, the authors devolved (ironically?) into the same kind of alarmist hyperbole they berate Dawkins for in chapter one. I suppose that was intentional, but it's difficult to refute a ridiculous argument with another ridiculous argument. I very much enjoyed the rest of the book, but I would have been more convinced of the validity of the arguments had it not gone off the rails somewhat in the last chapter...Still a big fan, though, and I definitely recommend this book.
