Smith Wigglesworth (1859–1947), known as the Apostle of Faith, had an international evangelistic and healing ministry. WOW! The most powerful and excellent devotional I have read. God taught me things through his word and the words in the pages of this devotional. I highlighted throughout my copy and starting over through it again because it is that rich and good. I went on the website to see if there was a volume two that would follow this one, but there wasn't but that's okay cause I know that just like the bible scriptures as I read through it the second time there will be different things that will stand out to me as God teaches me more. Smith Wigglesworth is an awesome man of God and all his books are just as great. He doesn't beat around the bush (so to speak) but tells it like it is and as the Holy Spirit gave him the words to speak. Highly recommend this devotional to all and if I could have I would have given it 10 stars not just the five.

Smith Wigglesworth was recommended to me by my Sister and best friend. We share devotional that we feel meet religious beliefs. This particularbook, is very good for reading before starting your day. His life had always been to tell people he met, about God. Upon meeting and marrying his wife, who educated him with reading writing and preaching the Word, he began his ministry of reaching, not only his local community, but begantraveling through out the world as more and more people heard about what he knew about Our Lord Jesus Christ. At the same time, he began with the help again, of his Ministering wife, writing down his sermons and thoughts and published them. Preacher Wigglesworth and his wife,traveled, talking to as many as invited them to speak in as many cities, towns and countries as they had the time and was able to get to them. As his health began to fail, the traveling slowed, but not the book writing. I would really suggest anyone wanting to find out what a child from early years, turned Preacher, had to say about the Saving Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, get this or any one of Smith WigglesworthsBooks. Find a quiet place and read.

Excellent devotional. I’ve never been a big fan of devotionals but rather prefer to read the Bible or books by Holy Spirit filled men and women of God at my own pace but when I saw this Wigglesworth devotional I had to get it. Such a refreshing way to start your day with words of encouragement and faith from someone who is the real deal. I highly recommend this and any literature available by Wigglesworth, it will change your life! The Word save, the Word heals, the Word sets you free!!!

I have read and given away this devotional. I reccomend it Highly. To the reviews saying there isnt enough scripture or Jesus being mentioned...they didnt read the devotional. He has you reading sometimes whole chapters of New Testament scripture referring directly to Jesus. He then spurs you on to believe what you read instead of just reading it and not applying it to your life. His giftings were geared towards healing However he never left the solid ground of Jesus and Him crucified. He was an evangelist and a profound biblically sound teacher of the word. This is a compilation of many of his books broken down in daily bite size chunks. I almost listened to the bad reviews on here but I am blessed the Holy Spirit prompted me to get it.

I love this devotional and use it most every day. He had such great insight and clarity. He is one of my favorite heroes of the faith.

I am what could be termed a "conservative Christian". I was introduced to the book by a "charismatic Christian" friend. This is a remarkable book by a man of remarkable faith. While I remain a bit of a skeptic about faith healing, I don't discount it totally. However you feel about it, you will find youself challenged to do better. I found nothing non-scriptural in the book. I would highly recommend it to any committed Christian. If you're just looking for some soft daily inspiration, it's not for you.

Very, real, deep challenging devotionals. God is still alive and active in our World today. God is waiting His church, Christ's body on earth to really surrender to Him so He can work through us powerfully so that His Kingdom can come to a needy world!

This purchase was a replacement for a five-year old copy that became dog-eared and started shedding pages from July 13 outward. The scripture says "I will awaken the dawn" and for several years before the sun rises this book, the Bible and the Holy Spirit have been my early morning companions. For the serious disciple who earnestly desires to be found IN HIM and know him and the power of His resurrection. Devotions that challenge the believer to become a follower of those who follow Jesus in signs and wonders.
